Sopot is easily accessible with various means of transportations. It has direct railway connection with many cities in Poland through the railway system. There is a direct daily train connection with Berlin and multiple daily connections with Polish capital - Warsaw.
Participants who wish to fly, shall choose the Gdansk Lech Walesa International Airport which serves the whole Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot region. Gdansk Lech Walesa International Airport has multiple daily connections with major European hubs: Copenhagen, Munich and Frankfurt. It has also frequent connection with Warsaw.
Participants who wish to fly with airlines grouped in the Star Alliance shall choose their connection flights via Munich, Frankfurt or Copenhagen. Participants who wish to fly with airlines grouped at One World Alliance shall choose their flights to connect via Amsterdam, Paris or London Heathrow and then take further connection to Warsaw. They shall change in Warsaw International Airport and continue with a domestic flight with LOT Polish Airlines. The best purchase strategy is to purchase the connection flight from Warsaw to Gdansk separately. This flights, when purchase in advance, can be bought at the price of express train ticket from Warsaw to Sopot. The connection flight from Warsaw to Gdansk takes less than hour.
